HEALTH ALERT REGISTRATION

SWINE FLU AND OTHER HEALTH ALERTS! The H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) is not currently to crisis level in the U.S. but the spread of infectious disease has a significant impact in our communities and being prepared is key. This particular flu is spread person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people. It cannot be contracted by eating pork products or having contact with pigs. For additional information about the H1N1 flu, click here. In response to a request by the Oklahoma City-County Health Department to help disseminate information to the faith community in potentially critical health situations, the OFBCI is creating a list of faith congregations who are interested in minimizing risk and being prepared to provide appropriate information and compassionate ministry to their communities.
