The statewide
Oklahoma Bridges Campaign
, assisted in the launch of three community initiatives to address poverty in Grove (Delaware County) on December 8,
Muskogee (Muskogee County) on October 28 and Stillwater (Payne County) on September 22. All initiatives were
championed by local organizations and included participation by OKDHS staff, other social service providers, Native
American tribes, and faith-based and community groups.

8046 State-wide Conference
on October 27, 2011 was hosted by OKDHS, OFBCI, private businesses, faith based groups, and congregations in Metro
Tulsa at The Church at Battle Creek in Broken Arrow. Hundreds of influencers from the faith community came together to
learn how to engage the ministry of foster care and participate in the Tulsa launch of the
www.111project.org.

In 2011 Artful Askers, in partnership with OFBCI, hosted four relationship fundraising trainings for faith-based and
community groups in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

HEALING COMMUNITIES
was the theme of the October 18 Prisoner Reentry Initiative in Oklahoma City. The forum provided program training to
approximately 75 faith-based leaders for the healing of people affected by crime, incarceration and reintegration
through facilitated dialogue. The event was co-sponsored with the Oklahoma Partnership for Successful Reentry, Inc. and
Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

Governor Fallin and the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives hosted a
Faith Leaders Luncheon
on October 11, 2011 at the Governor's Mansion for representatives from across the state. The purpose was to identify the challenges facing the state and celebrate successes

Oklahoma Father’s Rock ‘n’ Role
, a state-wide gathering of organizations and ministries interest in providing resources for fathers, was on June 9th
in Oklahoma City. The corporate conversation about the Fatherhood Lifespan was a great foundation for the start of a
state-wide fatherhood coalition.

Bridges Out of Poverty
spring training had such an overwhelming response that OFBCI partnered with OKDHS training staff to present again on
May 19, 2011.

On April 30
"Walk A Mile in my shoes"
hosted thousands of individuals and families to Oklahoma City’s Bricktown
for a foster care awareness walk. Registrants were asked to pull or carry a
suitcase during the walk as a reminder of the many moves children in foster care
have to make. Over 1000 suitcases were collected and donated to CASA and OKDHS.

The
8046 Conference
on April 5th was an exceptional day of inspiration and information specifically to
engage the faith community in serving children in state custody. The 111 project
was also announced and
www.111project.org was unveiled to the over 300 attendees from across the state.

In March of 2011 Oklahoma City and Tulsa hosted over 550 people attending
Bridges Out of Poverty,
a training for established social service providers to increase their understanding of the culture of poverty. Monica Bein, the Bridges Out of Poverty Presenter, was excellent and pleased to participate with training in her home state.

The
Oklahoma Charitable Clinics Association
(OCCA) hosted a statewide conference with the theme Together We Thrive on March 25 in Oklahoma City. Faith based and community clinics
involved with providing health care to the medically vulnerable came together for the conference and the inauguaral launch of OCCA. For more
