CELEBRATING OKLAHOMA TEACHERS.
The "You Dreamed For Me" concert to honor teachers in December of 2007 was a
resounding success in both Oklahoma City and Jenks. Statewide over 400 teachers
were recognized and the events were full of testimonies as to how teachers had changed

OPENING OF
SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA 2-1-1.
As a representative of the
2-1-1 Application and Review committee, on which she serves,
OFBCI Project Manager Deborah Price participated in the February
9, 2007 grand opening of the 2-1-1 regional call center in Lawton.
Although Mayor John Purcell was scheduled to place the official
call during the ceremony, the first call was received from a
person seeking help
— a testament to the need for the 2-1-1
helpline. The ceremony was well attended and included state
legislators, local business leaders and the community at large.
